Market Questions

What is the Black Creek Farmer's Market?

The market began in November of 2020 and was the idea of Black Creek resident, Jamie Leithart. Jamie quickly partnered with another member of our community, Sloan Reid, and together they got to work to bring fresh and local produce, meats, and more to this thriving neighborhood. The market is typically held on the first Saturday of the month on Festival Loop near "the ponds" from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. We have an incredible group of vendors who are excited to bring a variety of items to include seasonal vegetables, meats, cheeses, bread, coffee and more. Our vendors do an excellent job at updating us with what they plan to bring each month and many offer weekly deliveries and special orders for market pick up. Please be sure to sign up for our email list to receive updated market information and current vendor lists each month. For more information on which vendors offer weekly delivery and special orders for market pick up, please visit the Vendors page for more information. At each market we offer a drawing sponsored by Jamie Leithart with Boutique Living by Curate and Sloan Reid with The GLOW Movement. You can enter to win a gift card to one of our incredible vendors by donating at the market to our community fundraiser for the Chattanooga Food Bank ($1 = 1 ticket) or by purchasing from one of our vendors (1 purchase = $1 ticket). You can also donate online throughout the month by clicking the Food Bank link. Email us your receipt and we will enter you into the drawing. Thank you so much for you support in giving back! Please contact us at info@blackcreekfarmersmarket.com with your questions.

When and where is the market?

The Black Creek Farmer's Market is held from 9:30am - 11:30am on the first Saturday of every month (weather and holidays premitting) on Festival Loop "near the ponds."

Why is the market monthly?

The Black Creek Farmer's Market is held on the first Saturday of every month from 9:30am - 11:30 on Festival Loop "near the ponds." We are so greatful for the community's support and requesting the market be held every week. However, we also want to be sure the space is available for other club activities and be mindful of the residents on Festival Loop. As this community and market continues to grow, we will of course be considering all options. Be sure to sign up for our email list for updates.

Where do I park while at the market?

We are so greatful to the residents on Festival Loop who have graciously allowed us to host this market in their front yard every month. Out of respect for our neighbors we ask that you park across the street by the ponds if possible.

Who is sponsoring/organizing the market?

The Black Creek Farmers Marker is sponsored and organized by Jamie Leithart with Boutique Living by Curate and Sloan Reid of The GLOW Movement. To learn more about Jamie and Sloan, please visit the Market page. While we are so incredibly thankful for all the support from the Black Creek HOA and this community, the association's funds are NOT being used to pay for the market.

How do I submit a question?
